Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  • We use a wider range of techniques. In addition to spinal manipulation, we also use soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, and nutritional advice. This allows us to treat the whole body, not just the spine.
  • We take a more comprehensive approach. We assess the entire body, not just the area of pain. This helps us to identify the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction.
  • We focus on prevention. We teach our patients how to maintain their health and prevent future injuries.

You may wish to make a booking for:

  • Pain Relief
  • Prevention of Injury
  • Wellness
  • Improving Athletic/Cognitive Performance
  • A Second Opinion on a Diagnosis (often prior surgery)

Most patients visit initially for pain relief, then pivot their focus to prevention once the pain is relieved. Adopting an injury prevention plan is key to avoiding acute flare-ups or re-occurring issues. As to athletic and cognitive performance, a good clinical examination can identify areas for improvement which may produce improved functionality and performance outcomes.

We stand by the patient-centred approach where the patient is in control of his/her own treatment program, hence we do not work with high-frequency care plans. Most non-chronic conditions tend to resolve itself within 3-6 visits, sometimes even less. Rehabilitation for chronic conditions caused by long term injury may take longer due to the body’s adaptation process. Our idea is to provide you with the necessary skills to manage your own condition through taking our advice and making lifestyle changes.

According to current guidelines, X-rays are complementary exams and will not be required for the majority of cases - prior or during your chiropractic treatment. If X-Rays or any other forms of imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound etc) are required, we can give you a referral.

Nevertheless, feel free to bring along any recent x-ray and scans that you feel is noteworthy to mention.
