Spine Spot is an Australian-based practice that helps you improve your health and wellbeing through movement and lifestyle changes. We believe that education plays an important role in public health and patient wellbeing. In the "information era" where anything can be Googled, filtering of this information has become essential. Hence, we make it our mission to provide reliable information, while taking on a person-centered approach towards health and wellbeing.

HOW SPINE SPOT WAS FOUNDED

We were founded in 2016 by chiropractors Dr. Nico and his brother Dr. Jonatan Soares. The idea came when Nico moved to Australia in 2017 to follow his personal dreams and then expand the family business internationally. Thus “Spine Spot” is a direct English translation of the family chiropractic clinic in Brazil “Ponto da Coluna”.

Ponto da Coluna is a stablished clinic with more than 35 years in Porto Alegre (Brazil), founded by their father Dr. Tarso Soares, a very knowledgeable clinician with three academic degrees (Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Exercise Science) with experience working in Hospitals and multidisciplinary clinics.
